Cara Membaca Tab / Tablature Dalam Gitar

Apa itu TAB atau tabulasi? TAB adalah metode dalam menuliskan musik yang dimainkan pada gitar atau bass.

Fungsi TAB pada Gitar 
Dapat menunjukkan string mana yang harus dipijit dan dimainkan.
TAB dapat menunjukkan cara memainkan nada (hammer-on, pull-off, slide, bending dll.)
TAB juga dapat menunjukkan TUNING masing-masing string. Standard, drop-down atau up-tuning.

Cara Baca Tablature Gitar

Inti nya tulisan angka adalah kolom (fret) senar sedangkan garis yang jumlahnya enam adalah senar Jadi kombinasi kolom dan senar ke berapa.

Macam-macam Guitar Tuning

Macam macam tuning gitar yang sering dipakai :

1. Standar Tuning
Standar Tuning ini adalah setingan nada nada dasar pada senar gitar pada umumnya, urutannya adalah [E-A-D-G-B-E]

2. Drop D Tuning
Setingan ini merupakan setingan yang dimana ketiga senar atas (senar 4,5 dan6) diseting agar terdengar seperti satu nada yaitu nada D, urutannya adalah [D-A-D-G-B-E] 

3. Drop C# Tuning
Ini merupakan setingan yang mungkin agak sulit untuk para pemula yang baru belajar mengubah nada nada senar gitar, karena semua nada pada ke enam senar tersebut diubah/diturunkan 1/2 nada dari nada D ke C# menjadi nada Kress(#)atau minor, dan urutannya menjadi [C#-G#-C#-F#-A#-D#]

4. Drop C Tuning
Setingan ini juga hampir sama dengan setingan Dropped C# Tuning, cuman bedanya kalo ini nada nya bernada Mayor atau bulat,dan urutannya adalah [C-G-C-F-A-D]

5. Drop B Tuning
Tuning ini juga hampir sama dengan Dropped C Tuning, yang membadakan hanyalah urutannya aja, yaitu  [B-F#-B-E-G#-D]

6. Drop A# Tuning
Ini merupakan setingan yang mungkin agak sulit untuk para pemula yang baru belajar mengubah nada nada senar gitar, karena semua nada pada ke enam senar tersebut diubah/diturunkan 1 1/2 nada dari nada C# ke A# menjadi nada Kress(#)atau minor, yang urutannya adalah [A#-F-A#-D#-G-C]

7. Drop A Tuning
Setingan ini juga hampir sama dengan setingan Dropped A# Tuning, cuman bedanya kalo ini nada nya bernada Mayor atau bulat,dan urutannya adalah [A-E-A-D-F#-B]
